TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF
I have taught yoga and meditation for over 20 years, and I studied in India. I am a Biodynamic Craniosacral (BCST) therapist, which is a hands-on healing modality. With BCST I work with a lot of babies, as it is very gentle, but I also help a variety of people with many different things — from aches and pains to insomnia and depression. BCST is very subtle but powerful and keeps me very grounded.
HOW DID YOU GET INVOLVED WITH AQUASTUDIO?
My man and Esther’s (AQUASTUDIO’s founder) man were partners in a photography studio and have been friends for years. I first met Esther when she came to visit us in France. Her amazing vision and drive led me to AQUA.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CLASS TO TEACH, AND WHY?
I really love teaching them all! But if I had to chose it might be Restorative as I love the pace of the class, it is still a good work out but we slow it down. Inviting people to slow down is very important in these hectic times. In all my classes I ask people to listen to the quality of their breathing, it tells us so much about our wellbeing.
WHAT DOES HOLISTIC WELLNESS MEAN TO YOU?
You need to bring your whole self to the present. Show up for yourself. Your time at AQUA should be for the whole of you, your physical body, your breathing your mind. To care for your spirit and your mood and so you can be your best self.
WHAT DOES YOUR PERFECT AQUA CLASS PLAYLIST INCLUDE?
My playlist is pretty eclectic, maybe some Sam Smith, Little Dragon, Beck, Frank Ocean and maybe a few throw backs like George Micheal and Tina Turner. I listen to Radio Nova out of Paris all the time for inspiration.
WHAT INSPIRES YOU EVERY DAY?
To be well, to feel good, to have fun. Also, my beautiful family and the love we share inspires me.
WHAT CAN AQUASTUDIO MEMBERS EXPECT FROM TAKING A CLASS WITH YOU?
You can expect from my class to have a good time, to try new things, to connect to your mind and body and to come out feeling accomplished and energized not beaten up!
WHAT IS YOUR CLASS SCHEDULE?
Mondays, 4:30pm RESTORE and 5:30pm FLOW; Tuesdays 9am POWER and 10am RESTORE; Thursdays 6:30pm LAND STRETCH + MEDITATE and 7:30pm INTVL; Fridays 9am BLEND and 10 am POWER.
