Earth Day Everyday

On this Earth day, we celebrate the oceans with an environmentally-friendly Studio update: we’ve installed a bathing suit dryer, and we’re supporting an importance cause — the Ocean Cleanup Project. Learn more below.

As a studio dedicated to water wellness, it’s important to us that we honor Mother Nature — and the many gifts that she gives us: This Earth, and all of its abundance.

Of course, we’re partial to the magic of water, which is why we’ve created a lifestyle surrounding it.

On this Earth Day, we wanted to remind you that we are supporting the Ocean Cleanup Project by donating all profits of our reusable swimsuit pouches made out of recycled material. Place your order at the studio and help us limit plastic waste.

Did you know that trash accumulates in five specific spots within this planet’s glorious oceans? One of the greatest areas of trash litter within the ocean is found in the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, located right between Hawaii and California.

Not only does this garbage not belong there, reflecting an gratuitous lack of care for this earth’s bounty and generosity towards us, it will eventually accumulate to the point of deeply affecting our ecosystems. This doesn’t just impact the ocean and all of its beautiful creatures, it can have a massive impact on our health.

The Project “develops advanced technologies to rid the world's oceans of plastic. A full-scale deployment of our systems is estimated to clean up 50 % of the Great Pacific Garbage Patch every 5 years.”

You can learn more about supporting the Ocean Cleanup Project here.

And there’s more good news! We’ve installed a swimsuit dryer, located right near the showers in the women’s changing room. It’s so easy to use! All you need to do is pop your swimsuit into the dryer for 10 seconds — and, voila!

We installed the dryer (and removed the plastic bathing suit bags you may be used to seeing) to contribute to environmental sustainability — as well as your convenience! No more heavy, wet bags! And no more excess plastic.

Happy Earth Day! We encourage you to celebrate nature by spending some time outdoors — and then meeting us in the pool!
